Qualifications and Experience: Applicants for the position of Professor (BUSS 15) in Medical Laboratory Science at Bowen University should fulfill the following criteria:
- Hold a B.MLS Degree from Bowen University or accredited Universities and possess AIMLT or AIMLS/AMLSCN registration in each of Clinical Chemistry, Medical Microbiology, Haematology, and Histopathology.
- Have a current practicing License of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.
- Possess an M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching and research experience at the Associate Professor position or five (5) years at the Senior Lecturer position in a university or comparable institution of higher learning.
- Show evidence of ongoing research and scholarly publications in reputable journals.
- Demonstrate administrative and professional experience in a routine hospital diagnostic laboratory.
