God’s Grand Stories

Vol: 114.

I belong to a platform where God’s Grand Stories is shared daily.
I traveled to Ishapa on Friday the 4th of Sept 2020, for a burial of my friend’s father in-law. I was on my way back to Ilorin when my wife started calling me.

She had tried not to involve me initially, knowing that I would be driving so as not to disturb me until the situation got out of hand, hence, she was left with no choice but to announce the tragedy. The trouble started when our 2nd son went to her to complain that he was having a ‘rubber band ‘ in his nose 👃. The mother checked and attempted to remove it but to no avail. They visited one of the reputable private hospitals and later to UITH, okeose.

The Doctor on duty at the ENT Dept, saw the ‘foreign body ‘ after examining him and attempted to remove it too but couldn’t. He then booked us to the second day, Sat, the 5th to meet with a more senior colleague. We left home around 10:21am.

We were at UITH by 11am and the senior Doctor, after series of efforts, booked us for Theatre for Nasal operation come Tuesday 15th Sept, 2020. We were asked to come with between N40,000-50,000.

When we got home sat night, we prayed that God would manifest himself in our boy’s situation . We prayed for solution other than the boy to be operated on.

Meanwhile, on my returning home on that Saturday from office, after attending to few people and things in office, I stopped at his mum’s shop. I was hungry and decided to go home. My boy followed me, we ate my food, we played, we watched film. All these were happening until he said ‘Dad, I want to poo’
I gave him his potty. He pooed.

I was about going to trash his poo when I saw the rubber band in the potty. I called him to see it and said ‘Dad give me my rubber band ‘ my wife was speechless on her return from shop. We are so happy. It is not just on account of the money we would have paid but the agony we would have suffered. But God cancelled these all.

The story has…

  1. Further strengthened my Faith, my believe and Zeal in God.

  2. Taught me the power of prayer.

  3. The proof of God’s mercy and love to me, regardless of who I am.

What can God not do?

I’m a living testimony of his grace and mercy

Praise the Lord!
