Confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria have increased to 627 after 86 new infections were put down on Sunday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known via its Twitter handle.
While a total of 170 patients were discharged, 21 coronavirus-elated deaths were put down.
It tweeted, “Eighty six new cases of #COVID19 have been disclose as follows: 70 in Lagos, 7 in FCT, 3 in Katsina 3 in Akwa Ibom 1 in Jigawa 1 in Bauchi and 1 in Borno.
“As at 11:50 pm on the 19th of April, there are 627 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 170 have been discharged with 21 deaths.
